In the sun-kissed Aravalli hills, above Doodh Talai and Lake Pichola, our cable car carries you across a whole valley in European-style panoramic gondolas to Machla Hill, where the Karni Mata Temple and Ekling Garh Fort stand.
From the top you can see the Aravalli ranges, sun-kissed lakes, the City Palace, Taj Lake Palace, Sajjangarh Fort and the whole city landscape.
Set on top of Machla Magra hills near Doodh Talai, the temple is a short walk from the ropeway. No vehicles are allowed in the hill boundary, so the walk is pollution-free with spectacular views. Karni Mata, the warrior sage, is worshipped as an incarnation of Goddess Durga and is the deity of royal families and Rajput warriors.
